LAN Associates, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Surveying, Inc., (“LAN”) is a mid-sized multi-disciplined architectural and engineering firm. We are seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing department! This position is an opportunity to contribute to many facets of marketing and grow your skills.

This is a blended role that will have you working on both traditional marketing efforts and the proposal submission process, such as compiling requests for qualifications, requests for proposals, and shortlisting interview packages. This role will require strong organizational and written communication skills. This includes the ability to copy-edit writing for spelling and grammar and the ability to summarize complicated technical information in a digestible form.  AEC industry experience is preferred but not a must. You should have familiarity and comfort learning new software systems and experience with CRM software. Graphic design skills are a must, including experience in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and a proven eye for graphic design principles.   

The role also requires someone who is a collaborative team member and able to multi-task, handling multiple projects with deadlines simultaneously. We are looking for a candidate who is creative, curious, and has the ability to run projects independently.

 Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support proposal efforts, including development, formatting, and working with technical staff to write RFP/RFQ’s
  • Work with admin to ensure proposal requirements are met and delivered on time
  • Prepare qualification packages for prospective clients and new leads
  • Maintain sub-consultant information and requests
  • Assist with assembling materials for shortlist presentations, including design and strategy
  • Review and proofread copy of proposals and digital marketing materials
  • Create project experience marketing sheets
  • Create and update staff resumes and personnel information
  • Be a key contributor to the firm’s CRM, including updating opportunity data and tracking leads
  • Work on internal communication efforts such as newsletters, townhall presentations, and monthly lunch and learns
  • Write digital marketing communications for project portfolios and efforts to grow client acquisition, as well as improve client retention
  • Create graphics for the website, proposals, email campaigns, social media, and more
  • Advance the company’s social media platforms by providing content, graphics, and campaigns
  • Support efforts for tradeshow registration for conferences, hotels & travel

 

Skill Set:

  • Demonstrate strong written, communication, and verbal skills;
  • Be a team player while also being an independent worker;
  • Proficient in Word processing software;
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Creative thinker and passionate writer who is detail-oriented;
  • Must have an eye for brand consistency and design;
  • Experience in the AEC industry a plus

 

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
