LAN Associates, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Surveying, Inc., (“LAN”) is a mid-sized multi-disciplined architectural and engineering firm. We are seeking a full-time Marketing Assistant to join our marketing department! This position is an opportunity to develop new skills and contribute to many facets of marketing with a focus on proposals and acquiring new business.

This role will require strong organizational skills, ability to communicate well, and someone who enjoys multi-tasking. AEC industry experience is preferred, but not a must. The candidate must be experienced in Adobe InDesign and have an eye for graphic design principles, as well as have the ability to copy edit writing for spelling and grammar.  You should have familiarity and comfort learning new software systems and experience with CRM software.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on proposals (RFP/RFQ’s) to support the marketing team in acquiring new business
  • Obtain RFP/RFQ’s upon solicitation, manage proposal list for the firm, and assign proposal numbers
  • Assist proposal efforts including development, research, and formatting RFP’s/RFQ’s
  • Support development of staff resumes, project descriptions, proposal templates, as well as coordination for teaming with sub-consultants
  • Experience in graphic design to visually enhance proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral materials, including social media (photo editing a plus)
  • Review and proofread copy for proposals and other marketing materials
  • Support marketing communications for social media, website, and email marketing as needed
  • Update Cosential CRM contacts and company information
  • Coordinate tradeshows registration for conferences, hotels, travel, etc.
  • Coordinate ad/sponsorship registration and forms
  • Coordinate event registration for staff attending business development events and seminars
  • Support research and purchasing company promotional items
 

Skill Set:

  • Proficient with Word processing software;
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign a must, Photoshop a plus);
  • Have an eye and passion for graphic design;
  • Photo editing a major plus, video editing a plus;
  • Experience in the AEC industry a major plus

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • May hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree; no degree required
