LAN Associates congratulates Christopher Bechtler on becoming a newly licensed Architect and joining the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
“We congratulate Christopher on this milestone achievement and can attest to his hard work and commitment to earn such an accomplishment.” said Michael McGovern, Vice President of LAN’s Goshen office. “The road to achieving a license is extensive, but Christopher remained dedicated throughout the process and we are proud to have him as a part of the LAN team.”
Christopher’s architectural journey started when he decided to begin the architecture program at SUNY Orange. After earning his degree, rather than transferring on to another school, Christopher decided to begin work in the industry where he would gain hands-on experience.” He soon after joined LAN, where he has worked on a variety of projects that include the Physical Education Renovations to Mamaroneck High School, and most recently, the new addition and renovations to Goshen High School.
“With the help of some very passionate professors, I quickly found that architecture could be a fascinating mix of artistic intent and real-world problem solving,” said Christopher Bechtler, Project Architect. “I am very happy to have finally reached my goal after many years and am thankful for all of the friends and family who helped bring me to the start of my career as a licensed Architect.”
With this recent achievement, Christopher is eager to continue the advancement of the Goshen architectural department, where he will contribute to the design and development of a variety of projects.
