Successful Referendum at Irvington Union Free School District

LAN is pleased to announce the approval of a $4.6 million bond referendum for facility and field improvements to the Irvington Union Free School District on October 7, 2014. The referendum consisted of two categories of need: selected infrastructure improvements district wide to improve energy savings and lower operating costs and field and track renovations.
The referendum projects slated for completion in 2016 include the following:
• Meszaros artificial turf & track replacement
• East Field soil cap, irrigation, grass field
• Dows Lane – replace univents & upgrade HVAC
• Dows Lane/District Office renovations
• Site Improvements Middle School & Gymnasium
• Main St. School – Gymnasium Roof Restoration
• Main St. School – Convert boilers from oil to gas
• Dows Lane – Convert Gymnasium lights to LED
• Middle School – Add vestibules at entrances
• Campus/Main St. School – Upgrade boiler controls
• High School – Convert campus Gymnasium lights to LED
LAN Associates has been the architect of record for Irvington Union Free School District for the past 3 years and has completed various capital improvement projects throughout the District including the flowing:
• Comprehensive Drainage Study @ Middle School/High School
• Emergency Lighting installation @ Middle School, Dow Lane School and High School
• Fire Stopping, Fire Damper Installations at High School and Middle School
• Toilet Room Renovations at High School
• Main St. School – Convert Gymnasium lights to LED
