Our Executive Team

LAN’s executive team is well-versed across every discipline in the engineering, planning, architecture, and surveying industry, and they take a hands-on approach leading projects and guiding LAN’s over one hundred plus professionals. Every Principal has been with the company for a minimum of 15 years, with many having spent their entire careers at LAN. As owners and lifelong employees, LAN’s leadership is personally vested and passionate about their company and a culture of dedication that is evident in every LAN project.

Thomas Wighard

President
PE, HBDP, LEED® AP BD+C

As President of LAN Associates, Mr. Wighard is responsible for the overall management of corporate operations at LAN. He oversees more than 120 employees across LAN’s five offices located in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Mr. Wighard started at LAN Associates as an intern in 2001 before working his way up through the engineering department. He has over two decades of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, and he is involved with numerous heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, plumbing, and fire protection projects for both new construction and renovations.

Ronald M. Panicucci

CEO, Corporate Treasurer
PE, CME, LEED® AP

Mr. Panicucci is the CEO and Corporate Treasurer of LAN and has been an influential leader within the company since he was hired in 1983. Both a professional engineer and an MBA, Ron’s responsibilities reflect both his technical background and his business acumen. Mr. Panicucci is in charge of the overall management of the firm, including financial management and staff management, and he plays a major role in overseeing engineering projects. In 2019 Ron was awarded the CFO of the year award by NJBIZ Magazine.

Kenneth H. Karle

Senior Vice President 
AIA, PE, PP, LEED® AP

Mr. Karle serves as a Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Directors at LAN Associates. He is in charge of managing special projects and contributing to strategic planning. Mr. Karle has over forty years of experience in the industry and is both a Registered Architect and a Professional Engineer, a rare combination that puts him in an elite segment of less than one-half of one percent of all architectural and engineering licensed professionals in New Jersey and New York. Ken also serves as an expert witness before the court in matters pertaining to architecture and engineering.      

Stephen J. Secora

Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary
PE, PP, LEED® AP

Mr. Secora is the Vice President and Corporate Secretary at LAN. He has been working with the firm since 1983 and plays a major role in the oversight of both the architecture and engineering departments. Mr. Secora has decades of industry experience and plays a vital role in client relations on major projects. His contributions to LAN have had a measurable impact on the continual expansion of the firm.

Michael J. McGovern

Senior Vice President
AIA, LEED® AP BD+C

Mr. McGovern serves as Vice President and is responsible for managing LAN’s offices in Goshen, New York, Voorhees, New Jersey, and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He is a collaborative leader and creative thinker who works with all disciplines to ensure quality services are provided to LAN clients. He has more than thirty years of experience in the industry and uses his knowledge and background as an architect to advance team initiatives.

Steven Ramiza

Chief Operating Officer
PE, LEED® AP

Mr. Ramiza has been with the firm since 1999 and serves as LAN’s Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for the management of the environmental services, regulatory compliance, and civil engineering departments. Mr. Ramiza is involved in all phases of environmental and facilities engineering projects, including environmental investigations and remediation, environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance. He also plays a vital role in the firm’s business development strategies and corporate matters, as well as incorporating new technologies in the workplace.

Matthew Milnamow

Vice President | AIA, LEED® AP BD+C

Matthew Milnamow is a licensed Architect and Vice President at LAN Associates. Since 2004, he has worked as a Designer, Project Manager, Architect and Assistant Vice President of LAN Associates, leading design teams on a wide variety of projects. In his new role, Mr. Milnamow is responsible for the creative and strategic direction of the NY Office. Mr. Milnamow is primarily responsible for practice management, strategic planning, staffing, business development, client acquisition and retention, proposal writing, creative design guidance, workflow management, supervision & direction for technical production of architectural projects. Mr. Milnamow is a key leader and mentor for our intern development program. With expertise in graphic design, marketing, public relations, crisis management, accounting, construction and contract law, his skillset extends far beyond the fundamentals of architecture.

Ron Schwenke

Vice President
AIA, LEED® AP, NCARB

Mr. Schwenke is the Vice President in charge of LAN’s southern New Jersey operation. With more than two decades of experience in the architecture and engineering industry, his versatility and composed approach to situations is key to the implementation and completion of any project. In addition to managing LAN’s Southern New Jersey office, he is a key contributor to the firm’s business development strategies and is responsible for regional client acquisition and retention. Ron is involved in numerous local business organizations and the firm’s marketing efforts and is a key contributor to all phases of a project from budgeting/planning through construction completion, with a focus on honesty and integrity.

Matthew Webb

Vice President
PLS

Mr. Matthew Webb is an experienced Land Surveyor and the Vice President at LAN Associates in charge of managing all surveying services conducted by LAN. He is a team leader responsible for all survey control, boundary closure, metes and bounds descriptions, review of drawings and certifications. Mr. Webb is skilled in the utilization of total station and GPS equipment as well as the procedures necessary for data collection in the field. He is experienced in performing construction stakeouts, topographic surveys, and boundary surveys.

Danielle Farrell

Assistant Vice President | AIA, LEED® AP BD+C

Ms. Danielle Farrell is a dynamic leader and established architect with over 20 years of experience in the architecture industry.  In her role as Assistant Vice President in LAN’s Goshen, New York office she excels at maintaining client relationships, working with consultants, leading design teams, and managing contractors. Danielle’s desire to design started from a young age and since starting her career, she has built a strong portfolio of work that reflects a robust creative spirit. She has an extensive background in sustainable design practices and high-performance buildings and her diverse skills and abilities allow her to take projects from the schematic design phase through construction. Danielle has the ability to see both the big picture and the intricate details that are required for a successful project.  She also is a chair of the firm’s LAN’s Womens Network.

Jennifer Mannino

Assistant Vice President

Jennifer Mannino is the Assistant Vice President in charge of Marketing for the firm’s operations. She oversees all marketing and business development initiatives, is heavily involved in strategic proposal pursuits, and strategy planning for departments and the business itself. She directs a marketing team that creatively blends digital and traditional communication tactics to elevate brand awareness and recognition, while also being the firm’s resident graphic design and video editing expert. Jen is a key contributor to the firm’s business development strategies and is actively involved in numerous business and professional organizations. She also is a chair of the firm’s LAN’s Womens Network.

Matthew Wolfe

Assistant Vice President
AIA, CDT, LEED® AP BD+C

As an Assistant Vice President at LAN Associates, Mr. Wolfe is responsible for the development and management of the New Jersey Architectural Department. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, his diverse background offers a wide range of knowledge and creative leadership. Mr. Wolfe’s expertise in project management has led him to efficiently direct various projects ranging from hospitality, commercial, education, retail, mixed-use, multi-family, and non-profit institutions. His responsibilities include management of the department’s schematic plans, design development, construction documents, and specifications.
