NJBIZ recently named LAN Associates as one of New Jersey’s Top Environmental Firms. The recognition appeared in their April 2nd edition of the Top 25 Environmental Firms. The firm rose to a 14th place ranking this year, 13 spots higher than last year’s edition.

“It’s always exciting to see your company’s name on an NJBIZ list, and it’s even more fulfilling to see we moved up on the list,” said Steven Ramiza, Vice President PE, LEED AP, LAN Associates. “First and foremost, we want to thank our staff for their hard work that makes this recognition possible, but our work is never done. As a company, we are always looking for new ways to excel in our craft, especially focusing on doing what is best for the community and the environment.”

LAN’s Environmental and Regulatory Compliance Departments offers a wide range of services including site remediation, comprehensive Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) compliance, industrial hygiene, indoor air quality sampling, etc. to various public and private clients throughout the country.

With the celebration of Earth Day on April 22nd, this time of year places particular importance on cleaning up our planet. Earth Day focuses on various environmental issues, such as plastic pollution, deforestation, and climate change.

“Earth Day is recognized once a year, but at LAN we don’t look at it that way,” added Ramiza. “There is always something we can do for the planet that goes beyond it national day of celebration.”

As a company, employees of LAN Associates commit their time throughout the year in providing volunteer and community service efforts that benefit the environment and the communities they serve. LAN teams with Habitat for Humanity to provide designs and construction documents for various construction and renovation projects; sends a volunteer team to the City of Brotherly Love for the Mayor’s Annual Philadelphia Spring Clean Up; environmental efforts are also displayed on the trails of Sussex County parks where they annually volunteer for the Sussex County Trail Clean Up.
