The week of April 22nd is a special week for the architectural industry, as we come together to celebrate National Architecture Week at LAN Associates. The American Institute of Architects recognizes this week to elevate the public’s appreciation of design, while also recognizing those architects who have impacted local communities through their designs and collaboration.
National Architecture Week is held every April during the month of Thomas Jefferson’s birthday. While Jefferson is known as one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, he was also a passionate student of architecture, helping to design the Virginia State Capital and the nation’s capital in Washington, D.C.
We took this time to recognize architects at LAN and asked them to each describe themselves in one word as it relates to their career. While these architects see themselves in various ways, they all share a love for art and design that has shaped LAN Associates to into a top Architectural Firm.
