LAN Associates has expanded operations and opened a new office in the heart of Philadelphia. LAN’s newest location is at 1500 Walnut Street, a few blocks from City Hall.

“Philadelphia is a great community and we are committed to working on projects with city leaders that will improve schools, parks, and recreation areas,” said LAN Vice President Michael McGovern.  “Our architects and engineers are already at work on plans to renovate the J. Hampton  Moore School to provide students with state-of-the-art facilities.  Our Philadelphia team is looking forward to designing other projects that will benefit the City.”

LAN first opened its doors in 1965, operating primarily as an engineering firm with less than ten employees. 52 years later, the firm has become one of the leading full-service architecture and engineering design firms in the New York Metropolitan area.  In addition to a new office location in Philadelphia, LAN has expanded space at the firm’s Midland Park, New Jersey headquarters. LAN’s staff has steadily grown over the past several years, operating with 90 employees across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

“Business has been booming,” said LAN President Ken Karle, who has been with the firm for nearly 40 years. “We are all a part of something special here at LAN, and we recognize that our success stems from our dedicated staff, loyal clients, and community support.”
