LAN was the Architect and Engineer of Record for the great room addition at Heritage Manor East at Christian Health Care Center (CHCC). Our professionals have worked with the staff to ensure the functional arrangement of rooms accommodate the residents’ needs.
The space incorporates a large open dining area with clerestory windows and a “rocking chair” front porch so residents can enjoy the fresh air and the view within the semi-enclosed space. Adjacent to the dining room is a point of service kitchen that ensures meals are hot when served. The aesthetic incorporates cultured stone and wood clapboard siding to offset the institutional nature of the building’s function.
LAN submitted drawings to the Department of Community Affairs and designed the addition in full compliance with all governing building codes.
