Over the course of a 20 plus year relationship, LAN has provided outsourced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) consulting services at numerous Unilever R&D laboratories.
LAN was initially retained in 1996 to develop a complete EH&S compliance calendar to address all programs at the R&D Campus in Edgewater, New Jersey. The Edgewater facility consisted of a 40+acre campus with laboratory, pilot plant, and support space that was home to upwards of 500 employees. Once the calendar was in place, LAN’s services were used to replace an in-house staff of seven employees.
LAN provided EH&S services to the Edgewater facility until it was relocated to Trumbull, Connecticut in the Spring of 2005. LAN currently provides the Trumbull facility with an EH&S Coordinator for the 1000+ person, 25+ acre, multi-building, R&D campus. LAN also provides EH&S services and support on an ongoing basis at the Englewood Cliffs facility. During our tenure with Unilever, LAN has also provided various EH&S services to the company’s Rolling Meadows, Lisle, Bramalea, and Covington facilities.
