LAN Associates’ Chief Operating Officer, Steven Ramiza, has been appointed as Chair of the Executive Committee at the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACECNJ). Ramiza has been a member of the ACECNJ Executive Committee since 2019 and has served as Treasurer for the last four years.
An engineer by trade, Steven oversees LAN’s Site Development and Environmental sectors while also playing a leading role in the full-service architecture and engineering firm’s operations, business development, and strategic direction. LAN Associates is celebrating its 60th year in business in 2025, and Steven has been with the firm for the last 26 years.
“Steve is a respected industry professional and firm leader whose service as Treasurer of ACECNJ over the past four years has directly resulted in strong investments in the advocacy, membership, and programming that are central to the Council’s mission,” said ACECNJ President Joe Fiordaliso. “We look forward to working with him to advance the business interests of member firms and to broaden our engagement with other engineering firms.”
As Chair, Steven will help guide ACECNJ in its mission to strengthen the business environment for the consulting engineering profession. He will work alongside the rest of the ACECNJ Executive Committee to shape and promote initiatives that support member firms, enhance advocacy, develop strategic programming, and drive the business practices of professional engineering companies in the planning, design, and construction industry.
“I am humbled to have been named Chair, and I look forward to working alongside our talented Executive Committee and all of our dedicated members,” said Ramiza when asked about his new role. “I have been involved with ACECNJ for over a decade, and I truly believe in the organization's work and mission. I look forward to contributing to expanding both the reach and impact of our organization on the engineering community here in New Jersey.”
LAN Associates congratulates Steven on this significant achievement and looks forward to the impact he will continue to make on the New Jersey engineering community.
