12th Rock Sports retained LAN Associates to provide schematic plans for a new, multi-functional indoor sports and recreation complex to serve the residents of the greater Orange County area. The complex, which will be in Middletown, NY, will host both public and private events, including school district track meets.
LAN worked alongside 12th Rock Sports to create a plan that maximizes the 112,065-sf allotted space. The complex features an indoor 200-meter track with surrounding throwing areas and seating for 1,500 people. The multi-sport turf field will be the perfect place for soccer, lacrosse, football, field hockey, and baseball athletes to practice, train, and play year-round. The space will be equipped with a variety of fitness, locker, and conference rooms, as well as a café area, making it a one-stop shop for the community and visitors.
After the plans were finalized, LAN worked with 12th Rock Sports to create colored schematic building elevations, a 3-D modeled rendering, and presentation boards to aid in fund-raising efforts. The project is currently in the development stage and is expected to be completed by Fall 2021.
