Engineering News-Record (ENR) has released its 2023 list of top firms in the New York/New Jersey area, and LAN Associates has been recognized by the national publication. LAN’s ranking as an ENR top design firm comes after a banner year for the full-service architecture and engineering design firm, which has achieved major growth recently and posted its biggest year on record in 2022. To meet the demands of its expanding client base and portfolio of upcoming projects, LAN has also significantly grown its staff across all departments over the past two years, adding more than 40 new architects, engineers, and support staff. LAN now has over 120 professionals on staff working to meet the needs of its clients.
Every year Engineering News-Record puts out regional lists of the top publicly and privately held design architecture and engineering firms based on the percentage of their revenue that comes from design work. LAN’s recognition is a testament to the firm’s commitment to its clients and efforts to pursue new and more diverse projects from across the tri-state area. LAN has seen significant expansion from new opportunities in Southern New Jersey and has begun expanding its reach into the lower parts of Connecticut. In addition to a continued focus on its core market of K-12 educational design, LAN is actively working on notable community-driven projects in the hospitality sector and the faith-based built environment.

The leadership team at LAN is planning for continued growth and operational expansion. In May of 2023, Tom Wighard was named the firm’s new company President.
