HVAC Upgrades at William Paterson University

Project Overview

Between 2012 and 2014, LAN completed several HVAC related projects for William Paterson University. As part of an HVAC unit upgrade for the locker’s facility, LAN installed a new rooftop split HVAC unit along with two cooling only split HVAC units. Ductless split AC units were also installed for the training room. Air curtains were installed to reduce air infiltration during warm humid days when the building is heavily occupied due to sports practices and games. The goal of this project was to provide proper dehumidification in the building.

LAN also worked on the replacement of a rooftop unit for the recreation center racquetball court. This involved partial duct modification and a tie-in to the existing building management system.

Additional projects include replacing a large air handling unit (AHU) and refurbishing associated exhaust fans at Shea Auditorium and refurbishing the existing AHU and replacing four exhaust fans at the Wightman Gym Natatorium.
