Stonebridge Montgomery Emergency Generator

Project Overview

LAN was retained by Stonebridge, an independent retirement community located in Skillman, New Jersey, to provide professional engineering services for the installation of a standby duty generator

The design included the addition of a 2.5 MW, exterior, pad-mounted standby generator that provides a redundant power supply for the entire facility. The existing electrical distribution system accommodated the emergency and standby power requirements of the facility’s Clubhouse, Taylor Commons/Health Care Center and Assisted Living Buildings.

LAN provided services to evaluate the existing normal and emergency power systems within the facilities, conducted site investigations, and prepared a design concept within budget constraints. A coordinated phasing and sequencing plan was developed to minimize inconveniences to the residents of the occupied facility during the system upgrade.
