New Fidelity Investment Center

Project Overview

LAN was retained to renovate an existing building and turn it into the new home of a Fidelity Investment Center. The scope of work included site plan engineering, construction documents for the building facade, and the design of a new roof and roof drainage system.

The shell of the building was designed to fit in with the distinct aesthetic of downtown Morristown’s historical appearance. To save time and money, and to accommodate the requirements of the client, the roof/structure of the existing building was hydraulically jacked up 4’. LAN designed a new structural frame for the roof and converted a lower level repair shop into employee parking. Extensive brick retaining walls and site work required planning board approvals and historical review. LAN coordinated tenant fit-out plans and schematic building facades, and after the building department’s approval the project took less than four months to construct.
